FAQ’s 

What time does the event start? 

10am 

What time does the event end? 

The shopping centre closes at 6pm – and so will the shop  

I want to be the first in the queue what time can I queue from?  

Thank you for being so dedicated, please be advised we do not recommend queuing any early than 9am – as this is the time the shopping centre opens  

Where is the shop? 

We are located inside the forum shopping centre, Sittingbourne, Kent, ME10 3DL  

Where do I queue? 

The queue will start at the entrance of TokyoToys and wrap around the store to the high street entrance of the shopping centre,  

Where do I join the queue from? 

Please join the queue from the high street entrance of the forum shopping centre on crescent street,  Sittingbourne ME10 4PH 

What happens if it rains?  

We will with the forum shopping centre security to fit as many people as possible in the shopping centre, and under the high street entrance canopy. Please dress appropriately for British weather and bring an umbrella 

What happens if I need to leave the queue? 

Please avoid leaving the queue for prolonged periods of time but if you do need to leave the queue please inform a member of the team. Everyone entering the queue will be given a raffle ticket with a number for a chance to win prizes and also help identify where you were in the queue.  

What happens if I need the toilet?  

Toilets are in the forum short stay car park – these include accessible toilets. We also have toilets inside the shop, however these are not accessible.  

Will there be any way to get refreshments in the queue? 

We are fortunate to have amazing businesses surrounding the shopping centre and inside the shopping centre who would appreciate your custom.  

Will food be provided? 

Unfortunately, this is not  something we can do but please support the local businesses by buying food and drinks from them  

Does everyone get a goodie bag? 

We have a limited number of goodie bags – approximately 450, these will be given out on a first come first serve bases.  

When do I receive my goodie bag? 

Goodie bags will be given out at the entrance of the shop 

Is the shop accessible? 

Yes it is!  

I cannot attend but would love to be apart of the day: 

We will be live streaming on TikTok and YouTube!  

Will there be photo opportunities? 

Yes! We have a photo booth provided by polabooth  

Can I come in cosplay? 

Yes, we would love you to come in your cosplay  

How do I enter the cosplay competition? 

Please let our team on the Photo Booth know you wish to enter the competition, and they will take your details and ensure you are entered.  

Will I be in media posts? 

Due to the nature of the event it is very likely you will feature in a video of some form which maybe posted on the internet, there may also be local press attending on the day.  

How do I identify staff? 

Our team will all be wearing LCD badges  

Will you be buying TCG?  

We will not be able to buy TCG on the opening day but aim to start buying TCG from the 28th April 

Can my dog come?  

Service dogs are most welcome, for all other dogs please leave them at home due to how busy the day will be! 

Travel 

We recommend travelling by public transport wherever possible 

How close is the shopping centre from the train station? 

The Forum shopping centre is a short 3-minute walk from Sittingbourne train station 

What bus routes go to the forum shopping centre? 

There are many bus routes servicing The Forum from Great Easthall, Kemsley and Maidstone. The 349 / 347 / 333 / 334 / 341/ 351 and 647 are the most popular routes.

We would recommend
